...black, black, black! The black wall trend has totally grown on me. I really do think it's a great neutral to use which can create some serious drama & interesting vibes depending on how you use it. Paired with crisp contrasting whites & textures above- it takes on a contemporary-romantic look....the universe on your bedroom walls sans the glow in the dark stars of course....xox

I have a serious crush on our neighbors chandelier....here are some of my favorites that most closely resemble their modern glass beauty....I picture dimly lit nights eating, drinking, & celebrating with close friends under one of these....cheers!
Daughter of Danielle Steel, Vanessa Traina's West Village digs....photographed by The Selby & featured in Harpers Bazaar this month.... Love her eclectic style, but not sure about all the real fur & dead animals- think I'd spring for faux. The bucket style chair made out of antlers is amazing- I have a feeling those aren't faux either though.

Fall is upon us & winter is not far behind. I long for the changing of the seasons now that I live in perpetual summer- nonetheless here are some of my seasonal favorites for throws. Grab a good book, start a fire, drink some tea & cozy up- wishing I could.-Anthropology--Terrain--Pendelton-

One of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to -situated conveniently on the sea- waves, baguettes, cheese, wine, & brimming with interior & architectural inspiration- doesn't get much better- can't wait for our adventure!

My husband & I just returned from a trip to Biarritz France by way of Madrid & San Sebastian, Spain. Although we didn't get to see much of Madrid I was blown away by the interior architecture of the Madrid airport...soft waves of bamboo panels on the ceiling offset by steel, cement, & glass below. It really was a grand space with the high vaulted ceilings & beautiful light. The airport was nearly empty on our initial pass through because of a worker strike in Spain so we really were able to get a good feel for the space. I usually hate airports, but I loved this one....xox
